BEST Plantation Sdn. Bhd. established the business of swiftlet farming which encompasses swiftlet house designing, construction and alteration of swiftlet houses as the main stream of the business. Besides the company also trades raw swiftlet bird’s nest.
The company has been established the business since the year of 2010 and it has achieved a successful grown of the number of bird nest per house.
The company has objective to encourage and facilitate the exportation of the swiftlet nests either in raw or in the finished product form to generate the much needed foreign exchange and revenue for the economy of the country.
Currently the company has 7 parcel of land for swiftlet development which located at Matu, Sarikei, Daro and Pusa State. The company constructed purpose-build building completed with humidifiers, exhaust fans and sound systems to accommodate the white edible birds’ nests swiftlets, Aerodramus Fuciphagus.
Prior to this, the company has completed a preliminary study on the industry and further supported with expertise consultancy from the regions.
The company has targeted to build another 50 units of bird house farming and a manufacturing factory for the next five years in Sarawak.
